Parent Information

At Alderley Day Nursery we endeavour to be the best, we have listed below the reasons why we think we are special.

Our Nursery

Purpose built with an expansive outdoor space accessed from each room, every detail from the air conditioning to the trike track’s zebra crossing has been meticulously designed. Each room is equipped with suitably sized furniture and a range of real life activities to engage every child.

The environment is kept dynamic through the expertise of our staff who, understanding each child’s development stage, ensures learning is constant by offering more challenging activities at the appropriate time.

Montessori Philosophy

Research continues to recognise Montessori philosophy and the corresponding prepared classroom as a superior learning environment. Alderley Day Nursery is committed to delivering the Montessori Curriculum in its totality.

See the article about the Montessori Philosophy in the Daily Mail.

Above all else it is the qualifications and enthusiasm of the people caring for your child that make the nursery. Coming from a multitude of backgrounds and experiences, every member of our team holds, or is working towards, a higher level 3+ childcare qualification.

Our decision to surpass the regulatory requirement demonstrates our commitment to providing the highest standard of care.

We are regulated by The Office for Standards in Education, Children’s Services and Skills (OFSTED) and we are accredited by The Montessori Schools Association (MSA).  Our latest OFSTED report and our latest MSA accreditation report can be read through the following links:

Parent Partnership

To ensure a consistent and stable experience for each child, it is vital for us to partner with parents. We understand that each child has their own requirements and that parents have differing needs from their day care provider. Upon registration, a detailed discussion is conducted to understand the specific requirements of both the parents and child with regards to all aspects of their daily routine.

If you would like to discuss your personal requirements in more detail, please contact us:

The goal of early childhood education should be to activate the child's own natural desire to learn.
